Photocatalytic activity

Fresh Green produces high photocatalytic activity in response to an exceptionally wide wavelength ranging from ultraviolet to visible light (up to 490nm). The effectiveness of the Fresh Green was demonstrated in tests on sick house syndrome pollutants. In this test, using visible light alone, Fresh Green was able to decompose acetaldehyde 3 to 4 times faster than another commercial photocatalyst.

Durability

The highly photocatalytic surface produced by the carbon reinforced Fresh Green process offers greater scratch resistance than chrome-plated materials. The excellent high-temperature antiwear property of Fresh Green was confirmed in a 470^oC antiwear test.

Corrosion resistance property

Fresh Green proved to be highly resistant to corrosion in tests for hardness, scratch resistance and photocurrent density. The tests showed that performance does not deteriorate even after soaking Fresh Green in an acidic (1M sulfuric acid) or an alkaline (1M sodium hydroxide) aqueous solution for one week.
